namedrift assists brainstorming for product or feature names. It uses generative AI to produce candidates from a starting word (your center) and in a direction you specify (your drift).
CENTER — choose a starting word or phrase, or use the one prefilled above. It's the seed your candidates branch out from.
DRIFT — compose your direction by dragging tags into AND / OR / PERMUTATION zones in the filter panel. Each PERMUTATION tag (and each selected model) spawns a parallel line of inquiry — a fork.
REVIEW — inspect the candidates as they stream in. After setting your name (the login pill, top right), you can rate or save any idea out of five stars; saves are shared with every user and live in the saved tab. Tap the center button on a candidate to re-fork from there.

Symbol legend
- center — re-fork the drift from this name. Replaces the seed and starts a fresh feed.
- save — keep the name in the shared saved tab (attributed to you). Becomes a check once saved.
- copy — copy the bare name to your clipboard.
- variations — generate ~13 morphological and MD-affix variants of this name (different tense, POS, suffix, root) without changing your filter.
- history — every drift you've fired this session, with seed + filter + "see prompt".
- compose (bottom toolbar) — opens the sliders / filter panel from any view.
- refresh — re-check live domain availability for any TLD still showing ?. Doesn't overwrite resolved values.
Gestures
- Double-tap a card body to favorite — heart pops, card bounces, 4★ auto-save.
- Tap a star to set a specific rating (also saves).
- Tap a tag in the pool to bucket it (AND/OR/PERM popover). Tap a tag in a zone to send it back to the pool.
- The trail at the top tracks each auto-step. After ~8 cards per fork the feed silently picks a top candidate as the new seed; hard cap 15 silent steps.
